With the mercury boiling above the century mark, it was time to head to the lake to cool off! Jake and his friends headed north to a lake in Oklahoma and Zack and Dyke and I headed south to Lake Kemp, on the Waggoner Ranch. Aaahhhhhh, the water was delicious!!

There's nothing like being rocked to sleep as the waves gently lapped against the bow. (I feel certain that we've grown too old for this amount of physical activity! HA!)
Of course, Zack had to get some fishing in!
Then it was time for a little supper...we pulled up to a small beach and cooked some sausages! YUM!!!
