Cristi and I gave one of Jake and Cory's friends, Zac, a send -off party on Friday night at her house. He left today for Missouri for Army Boot Camp. Cristi did a great job of putting on a wonderful party...flying American flags down her long driveway to welcome him and all of their friends!
Jake and I had just gotten back to Vernon from a 2 day college orientation at West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas. It was jam packed with information and "to do lists" in preparing for Fall Semester.
We were both looking forward to seeing Zac before he headed out. Chris grilled burgers, we visited, laughed and had a wonderful time together before he left to embark on the next part of his life's journey.
